If you\u2019re here, I\u2019m honored to welcome you and know that you are seen and heard.<\/p>\n<p>The AIM Center is a destination health center born out of the need to fully connect and engage with patients.<\/p>\n<p>My name is Dr. Tania Dempsey, founder of the AIM Center, and it\u2019s important that I share our <em>why <\/em>with you.<\/p>\n<p>As a busy practitioner in the \u201ctraditional medical model,\u201d I felt increasingly frustrated by the limitations placed on me not only by the practice I was with, but by the overall ceilings that exist within conventional medicine. <strong>I was discouraged from helping patients get better \u201cholistically,\u201d was reprimanded for spending too much time with patients, and lastly, I was penalized for not using statin drugs to lower cholesterol levels.<\/strong> You read that right. I was discouraged from truly getting to know my patients so I could help them more fully. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon and if you\u2019ve ever worked with a conventional practitioner, you\u2019ve probably experienced this. I wanted the freedom to explore a variety of treatment options for patients (from east to west), and not just what big pharma was currently advising.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I wanted to give patient\u2019s the attention they deserved and needed and not feel rushed in educating them on the things I <em>know<\/em> they need to truly heal. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I knew that I could create the \u201coptimum\u201d environment for optimum health and I am as excited about that today as I was when I started the Center.<\/p>\n<p>Here at the AIM Center, we would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to better health.
